The PA11-HON iPod Interface Cable connects, controls, charges, and plays an iPod through the factory stereo system of your compatible 1991 and up Honda, Acura, Volvo, or Mercedes factory radio with external Changer controls. This unit allows you to connect an iPod to your factory radio and operate the iPod just like a CD Changer.

NEW FEATURES on the PA-11: You Can Now Select 2 Different Playback Options:

• Playlist Mode - Create up to 5 favorite mobile playlist then use the radio’s CD changer controls to access and control your playlist.
• Direct Mode - Gives user complete control of their iPod while it is connected to the factory radio. iPod is not locked out while connected to radio and user is able to manually access their complete iPod content. Radio still can adjust song up/down random or shuffle play but user must manually select playlist or Artist.
• Note: Playlist mode or Direct mode must be selected at time of installation but can be changed by adjusting Pin Switches anytime.

• All 1992-05 Honda vehicles listed above must with CD Changer controls and either a 14-pin or 8-PIN DIN connector on the back of the stereo
• Not compatible with 1995-Up Passport
• Not compatible with Honda Navigation radios, factory DVD, in-dash 6-disc Changer Radios or factory XM

VOLVO Radio/Compatibility Requirements and Notes:

• Compatible with select 1991-00 Volvo factory radio model SC-710, SC-810, SC-811, SC-813, SC-816, SC-901 etc [not compatible with any HU-*** headunit. -- see the PA11-VOL ]
• Compatible Volvo radios must have a "CD" [8-Pin Mini-DIN connector on the back.]
• A CDL-VOL cable (sold separately) is required

MERCEDES BENZ Compatibility:

• Compatible with select 1994-98 Mercedes Benz factory radios [not compatible with Fiber Optic systems.]. Radio must be prewired with a 10-pin Molex connector in the TRUNK.
• A CAS-M4 (short) or CB-PM4 (long) cable (sold separetely) is required

Note:

• This adaptor is not applicable to vehicles equipped with factory installed Navigation, Video systems or SAT Tuner
• This adaptor emulates a CD Changer -- If your vehicle currently has a factory CD Changer installed, it must be unplugged as they cannot be connected to your factory radio simultaneously.
• This interface does not support artist, album, or song title information
