Want to control your Apple iPod™ from your factory radio? Get the iPAC-OEM and get direct sound from your iPod™ into your factory stereo! This revolutionary interface connects to your factory radio and allows you to listen and control your Apple iPod through your vehicle's head unit. No more sound-degrading FM modulator or dangerous fumbling with the iPod's controls while you drive. Get clean, high quality sound playing through your factory radio. And you can change tracks on your iPod from the factory radio or steering wheel controls (vehicles with audio controls on steering wheel). The iPAC-OEM is compatible with the iPod Mini, Nano, 3rd generation, 4th generation, Photo, and Video (5G) iPods. Not compatible with factory multi-disc CD changer or the iPod Shuffle™.

The iPAC-OEM allows your iPod to act as if it was a CD changer installed in your vehicle, allowing several of the iPod functions (play, pause, fast forward thru a song, rewind a song, recharge, turn on, turn off) to be controlled by your factory radio, even using steering wheel controls if your vehicle is so equipped. The iPAC-OEM automatically turns off the iPod™ when the radio is out of AUX-mode or when vehicle/radio is turned off and then will continuously recharge the iPod™ if it stays connected. The iPAC-OEM white cable is 12ft long which will allow you to mount the iPod in the passenger compartment while the iPAC-OEM box and vehicle-specific cable are mounted in the rear of the vehicle when your vehicle is pre-wired for a CD changer in the trunk. There is no need for any extension cable.

The iPAC-OEM consists of a Universal Auxiliary Audio Input interface and a 12ft long white Apple iPod™ interface cable. To use the iPAC-OEM with your vehicle, you will need to order a vehicle-specific wiring harness (click here for application guide).

Important iPOD Information: It is possible that some people will experience problems controlling the iPod™ when used with the iPAC-OEM. iPod's with older software versions did not have the ability to be controlled through the bottom port. Please update the iPod software using Apple's iPod Updater.
